2026 GBC International Bank Scholarship Program

 
 

$10,000 in Scholarship Awards Available

Five $2,000 Scholarships Available for Current High School Seniors and College Undergraduates Planning to Attend College as a Full-Time, Degree-Seeking Student in the Fall of 2026.
GBC International Bank is committed to supporting economically-challenged young adults residing in its business service territories to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a higher education.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • High school seniors and College undergraduates who reside in California or Washington in one of the following counties

    • Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Francisco County, Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, Alameda County, King County, Snohomish County

  • Plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or a Community College in the state of California as a 1st year student in the Fall of 2026 (if selected, must submit college acceptance letter for verification) or be a current undergraduate at a U.S-accredited college or community college

  • Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.6 or minimum college GPA of 3.4

  • Have a household income at or below the Moderate-Income Level (Must be able to show 2024 or 2025 tax return should applicant be selected for award.)

  • The scholarship is open to U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents, there is NO ETHNICITY REQUIREMENT

  • Employees of GBC International Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply

  • Must be pursuing a degree in:

    • Accounting

    • Business Administration

    • Finance

    • Economics

    • Mathematics

    • Other business-related fields

The scholarship awards will only be used to cover the cost of tuition for attending a college/university, as defined by the institution attended.

All materials must be RECEIVED by 11:59pm PST, Monday, April 20, 2026. Anything received (whether mailed, emailed, or faxed) past that date and time will not be considered, regardless of the postmark. Application and recommender forms MUST be submitted online – Hard copies will NOT be accepted.
