As the Co-Managing Partner at Fineman West, Wendy helps clients in the consumer products, real estate, manufacturing, technology, and entertainment industries in financial accounting and tax planning. In 2018 and 2021, she was listed by the LA Business Journal as one of the Most Influential Women in Accounting. She received her master's degree in Business Taxation and her bachelor's degree at the University of Southern California. At home she enjoys spending her time with her son and two daughters.

Marco Cordova is the Director of Film Finance and West Coast Tax Credit Investments for Monarch Private Capital, Marco is one of the Nation’s leading Film and Television tax credit placement specialists, helping his production clients sell over $1 billion in tax credits and the recipient of the Credits and Incentives Tax Article of the Year Award by IPT (2017). Furthermore, Marco works with many Fortune 500 and institutional clients with their acquisition of film, renewable energy, historic, and low-income-housing tax credits to offset various corporate taxes.

Marco holds a Master in Business Taxation Degree from USC, and he is an LMU Accounting Advisory Board Member. Marco is also California CPA and a registered representative with FINRA.

Elaine Quach is the Director of GL Accounting at Pacific Summit Energy LLC (PSE) responsible for overseeing the energy commodity accounting operations, technical accounting, and financial reporting for PSE and its affiliates. Prior to that, she was with Southern California Edison for 10 years supporting its energy procurement functions. Elaine has over 20 years of experience in the areas of finance, accounting, tax, auditing, internal controls, and system implementation. Elaine is a licensed CPA with an Accounting degree from California State University, Los Angeles and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Elaine joins our Board in November 2018. In addition to APCF, Elaine is also active with Asian American Professional Association, a non-profit organization set out to inspire, develop, and promote Asian American and minority professionals to maximize their leadership potential.

Angel Chen is a Managing Director in Deutsche Bank Wealth Management's Family Office Practice. Angel is multicultural & community motivated. She and her team work with corporate executives, private equity, real estate enterprises, hedge fund principals, entrepreneurs domiciled in the US and abroad, family foundations, and family offices. Her team focuses on solving complex issues involving financing needs, investments and cash management, capital markets and strategies for estate and tax planning. Angel has over 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Angel was a Senior Vice President/Private Banking Team Lead at City National Bank's Private Bank.

Angel is a native of Taipei, Taiwan. She spent her childhood there, getting accustomed to the fast-paced city life which still fascinates her to this day. As a youth, she experienced a bit of a culture shock when she moved to the beautiful Laguna Beach. She adapted quickly, but still kept true to her city roots. She pursued and received degrees in Economics and Business Management from UC Irvine and then went on to receive an MBA in Global Asset Management in her spare time from her full-time job.

Angel began her career in Orange County, learning skills in banking, credit, cash-flow analysis, tax planning and estate planning services. Because she was so attracted to the financial center of Los Angeles, Angel moved her base of operations to downtown LA where she became the top leading Manager at her bank for many years running. Since then, her coverage has grown to include clients all over Greater Los Angeles and its surrounding affluent areas: Santa Barbara, Orange County, San Diego and even the San Francisco Bay Area.

Angel is philanthropically inspired. She has an interest and commitment towards community activism and also as a women's advocate. She volunteers time to serve on several boards for civic and charitable organizations. In addition, Angel is one of the original founders of Asian Woman in Business Southern California and she is an active member of the UC Irvine Alumni. Other than her passion for her career and community associated affairs, she considers herself a “foodie” and enjoys enhancing her culinary skills by participating in cooking classes and hosting various seasonal/festive gatherings. She is also a firm believer in the positive effects of health and fitness. She enjoys spending time at her home nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains with her husband Glen, their son Leonardo, and their dog Rolly.

Eric is a Vice President for Mission Valley Bank in Commercial Banking, based in Burbank, California, concentrating mainly on Commercial and Industrial lending, (specializing in corporate / commercial business)

He has over 35 years in the industry with experience in large to mid-size international and domestic banks and managed both domestic and Japanese corporate groups within the bank and the parent agency. Have also established and managed the Underwriting team for one of the major international bank. Have maintain various management roles with different financial institutions and including executive c-level management roles as well.

Have always maintained a strong following of clients who has followed him to different financial institutions over the years since beginning of his banking career.

Nancy is a FVP Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Community Officer and Fair Lending Officer for WaFd Bank, where she establishes relationships with community organizations for the purpose of investing and creating programs for underserved individuals, families, and small businesses. Nancy is deeply committed to championing community development initiatives and cultivating a supportive environment that values diversity and individual strengths. Nancy received her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Regional Banking School. She and her family enjoy discovering new foods while traveling locally and internationally.

Nancy Morikawa

Elaine Quon is a Principal Manager at Southern California Edison’s

Revenue Service Organization managing key billing and credit/collections support areas such as Robotics Process Automation, Technology Portfolio and System Oversight, and Performance KPI and Metrics Reporting.

Her career began at Arthur Anderson, L.L.P. has worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment and has held various positions at SCE in the areas of strategic planning, technology portfolio planning, major systems implementation and program/project management. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Economics-Business is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Masters degree in Leadership at Azusa Pacific University in May 2023. 

Her passion is to mentor API and women leaders within her company and through the Asian American Professional Association (AAPA) and UCLA Alumni Association. 

Her free time involves Yoga, learning pickleball, hiking, playing piano, learning to play pickleball and spending time with her family.

With over 15 years of experience as a commercial producer and celebrity endorsement consultant, she has worked extensively on the international stage, with a particular focus on the Chinese market. Since joining IW Group in 2022, Sharon has served as the lead producer for McDonald’s campaigns, bringing creativity and precision to her projects.

 

Sharon’s hobbies include healthy eating, traveling, hiking, reading, and exploring art and films.

 

Fun Fact: Sharon is deeply passionate about functional nutrition and is a firm believer in the power of diet and lifestyle changes to transform health and well-being.

Sammi Morrill is a Community Engagement, Market Manager for JPMorgan Chase based in Los Angeles. Sammi works alongside Southern California nonprofit partners, community leaders and advocates to understand the needs and dynamics of the local community to help inform JPMorgan Chase's services and investments. Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Sammi served as an urban retail leasing specialist at CBRE in both Los Angeles and San Francisco where she connected local businesses with spaces that revitalized and enhanced their neighborhoods.  She is passionate about community building and fostering sustainable, people-centered impact through thoughtful public and private collaborations.

 

Sammi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College and enjoys exploring LA's food scene, running at the beach, and reading in her free time.

Vivienne is a real estate attorney at Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. Vivienne represents local, regional, and national homebuilders, commercial developers, financial institutions, purchasers and sellers, as well as landlords and tenants across various property types, such as office, retail, hotel and other income producing property. Her practice involves a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposition, real estate development, and commercial leasing of all types. In 2024, Vivienne received the Top Young Lawyers of OC award by Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law, and currently serves as a co-lead for Snell & Wilmer’s Lawyers of Color (LOC) affinity group. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from USC Marshall School of Business, and an LLM degree from USC Gould School of Law.  In her spare time, she enjoys listening to Broadway musicals and traveling to learn about the architectural history of cities.

Lisa Kaup is Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager for Banc of California’s Middle Market Banking team. She specializes in serving sponsor-backed and privately owned middle-market companies, with a focus on the food and beverage, consumer products, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Ms. Kaup joined Banc of California in 2021.

 

Ms. Kaup has extensive experience in commercial and corporate banking, having held various underwriting and credit-related roles at institutions including Banc of California, Opus Bank, City National Bank and Bank of the West. Prior to her current role, she was Vice President and Underwriting Team Lead for Banc of California’s Commercial Banking Underwriters. Well-known for her expertise in credit and her collaborative style, Lisa is skilled in structuring complex financial solutions.

 

Ms. Kaup earned a finance degree from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from the University of Southern California, where she served on Marshall’s Graduate Student Leadership Board. Her innovative strategies have driven noteworthy growth at Banc of California, earning her a nomination as a Woman to Watch by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Katherine Vu is Senior Vice President, Deputy CRA Officer at Columbia Bank. With a passion for volunteering, Katherine has been involved with various nonprofits in her community from a young age. Through her position at Pacific Premier Bank, now Columbia Bank - she has been fortunate to align her professional development with her passion for community outreach. Katherine is experienced in managing regulatory and technical requirements under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) for a large financial institution and is seasoned in executing CRA compliance management and serving as a subject matter expert on key CRA areas: small business lending, data collection and reporting, community development lending, compliance monitoring and analysis, and community programs focused on affordable housing.

Katherine currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Templo Calvario Community Development Corporation, and as an Advisory Committee Member for Affordable Housing Clearinghouse. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine. As an OC native and now LA transplant, she enjoys traveling, DIY home projects, and crafting mixed drinks (coffee + cocktails).

Karen Kim is an Associate Attorney at the law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP’s Glendale office.  For more than 10 years, her practice has focused on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on trademark and copyright law, and she has experience managing all aspects of global trademark portfolios, including prosecution, assignment, licensing, and enforcement for clients that range from local small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.  Karen has represented clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as in infringement litigation in federal court.  In 2024, she was named a Super Lawyers Southern California Rising Star.  Karen received her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, a master’s degree in education from Mills College, and her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley.  Her free time involves spending time with her family, in particular her son.  She enjoys trying new foods and restaurants and dreams of the day when she has time to work out and run regularly again with an eye set on the LA Marathon.

Andy is the SVP Treasurer for PCB Bank, where he oversees the Bank’s treasury function, including cash management, debt management, cash forecasting, and investment portfolio management. He has spent the majority of his professional career within the Banking industry, serving in various roles ranging from financial planning and analysis, profitability, tax and asset liability management. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California. On his time off, he enjoys new food and wants to get back into salsa dancing again.
