Five $1,000 Scholarships Available for Chinese American High School Seniors
Planning to Attend College as a Full-Time, 1st year or 2nd year Degree-Seeking Student in the Fall of 2026
The Wei-Chee Scholarship Fund is committed to supporting economically-challenged young adults residing in its business service territories to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a higher education.
ELIGIBILITY:
Chinese American student who plans to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University as a 1st year or
2nd year student in Fall 2026 (if selected, must submit college acceptance letter for verification)Applicant must be a California resident and either a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder
A minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
A household income at or below the Federal or State Low Income Level (must be able to show
2024 or 2025 tax return should the applicant be selected for award)Open to ALL majors

Applicants only have to fill out the common application once to apply to all scholarship programs they are eligible for

The scholarship awards will only be used to cover the cost of tuition for attending a college/university, as defined by the institution attended.
All materials must be RECEIVED by 11:59pm PDT, Monday, April 20, 2026. Anything received (whether mailed, emailed, or faxed) past that date and time will not be considered, regardless of the postmark. Application and recommender forms MUST be submitted online – Hard copies will NOT be accepted.
