AAPI Angelenos make up 107,000+ of the undocumented population and 111,000+ AAPIs with legal status live with undocumented family member(s). In one way or the other, our communities are impacted by the terror inflicted by ICE and the Trump administration.

Southeast Asians and South Asians are being detained and disappeared from the streets, at court hearings, ethnic businesses, and more. Our people are homebound, experiencing food insecurity and financial instability, out of fear for their lives. 

With the passage of the Big Ugly Bill, an massive $170+ billion is allocated towards immigration enforcement and detention. This sanctioned violence against immigrant communities is not "normal". It is the exact opposite, it is undemocratic and it is un-American.
