APHCV: Summer Of A Million Books Campaign (All Day)
The Asian Pacific Health Care Venture is proud to support Reach Out and Read with the launch of the “Summer of a Million Books” Campaign.
Our pediatricians at APHCV join the nationwide effort to put one million books in the hands of children from Monday, June 21 (First Day of Summer) through Monday, September 6 (Labor Day).
The mission is to prepare America’s youngest children to succeed in school.
How can I help?
1. Donate a book or sponsor a child online through Reach Out and Read's Virtual Book Drive. 2. Organize a book drive for the Reach Out and Read Program in your community. 3. Most importantly, read to the children in your life every day.

CSC: 39th Anniversary Dinner And Silent Auction (6:00 pm)
Chinatown Service Center has and must continue to provide a safety net for these individuals in our community, particularly those individuals and families who cannot otherwise overcome the language and cultural barriers that prevent access to the health and human services they need to survive. We are all being impacted in these challenging economic times, but your support will make a huge difference in the lives of these needing our help. On Friday, September 24, 2010, we are hosting our annual awards banquet at the beautiful San Gabriel Hilton where we expect more than 500 business, community and political leaders from the Los Angeles region to join us. We invite you to celebrate with us what we have achieved in turning the curve toward economic recovery and that you will be a sponsor at our awards banquet this year.
