Competitive grants from the Asian Pacific Community Fund (APCF) transform the lives of countless residents throughout Los Angeles County – and, in the process, they help strengthen the entire nonprofit sector in the region. This makes APCF more than a typical funder – we partner with non-profit organizations to maximize their impact by offering long-term funding opportunities, core operating support, and resources that go way beyond just writing a check.

We take great pride in collaborating with our stellar non-profit partners, all of which must meet specific requirements and fit with our work to qualify for funding. All grant applicants must serve low-income or underserved Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities in Los Angeles County and meet the strategic criteria of the area to which they apply.

To help determine your eligibility for a competitive grant, please be sure to review our priority areas, as each has its own particular requirements in addition to the general ones stated above. Our priority areas include:

  • Building Healthier Communities
  • Developing API Leaders
  • Creating a Stronger Voice
